Intelligent Renovation Project of Terminal 1, Nanjing Lukou International Airport
Nanjing Lukou International Airport is a major national hub airport, key trunk airport and Class I air port, serving as the core aviation gateway in East China. The reconstruction and expansion project of Terminal T1 is a key civil aviation project in Jiangsu’s 13th Five-Year Plan. After renovation, it obtained China’s first 3-star Green Building Design Label for existing building renovation, setting a national benchmark for green renovation of civil aviation terminals. Interconnected with Terminal T2, the project is committed to building a safe, green, smart and humanistic "Four-Type Airport". To meet the special scenario requirements of the terminal, including large-space daylighting, large-area curtain wall structure and round-the-clock operation, the project introduces DOBAS intelligent control system. Through all-round intelligent management of lighting, sunshade, environmental monitoring and equipment linkage, it effectively reduces building energy consumption, supports the attainment of 3-star green building standard, and empowers the intelligent and low-carbon upgrade of the airport.
DOBAS intelligent control system is fully deployed across the whole project, covering core scenarios such as terminal waiting halls, circulation corridors and curtain wall areas. It integrates multiple functions including intelligent lighting regulation, adaptive sunshade system, environmental monitoring, weather sensor linkage and centralized remote operation & maintenance. Adopting DOBAS dual-bus architecture of KNX plus self-developed B-BUS, the system meets the airport’s stringent operation standards for high stability, high safety and all-weather service. Refined intelligent strategies help reduce building energy consumption, optimize environmental quality and improve operation efficiency, providing core technical support for the green and intelligent construction of the airport.
