Energy Efficiency Renovation Solution

Solution Introduction

Addressing the pain points of outdated equipment, persistently high energy consumption and fragmented management in existing buildings, we center on intelligent retrofitting of lighting and electromechanical systems, supported by energy consumption monitoring and building automation upgrades. It helps existing buildings boost energy efficiency without modifying the main structure or interfering with regular operations. The retrofitting brings minimal construction disruption, fast returns, measurable outcomes and continuous optimization.

Solution Architecture

The system adopts a hierarchical distributed architecture, consisting of three major modules: platform management layer, network transmission layer and field device layer. It is compatible with mainstream protocols such as KNX, BACnet, DALI and Modbus, and fully connects various subsystems of the renovated building including lighting, air conditioning, fresh air, fire protection and power distribution. It eliminates equipment silos to realize unified monitoring, intelligent linkage and data intercommunication of devices across all scenarios.

1

Platform Management Layer

(Centralized Monitoring · Scene Distribution · Energy Consumption Decision-making)

Unified management by operation & maintenance center and property management department; the intelligent lighting platform, building automation platform and energy consumption monitoring platform are displayed on one screen. One-click distribution of scenarios for offices, lobbies, parking garages and landscape lighting, with real-time visualization of building status.

1

Network Transmission Layer

(TCP/IP · KNX · BACnet · DALI)

Reliable transmission via building LAN and floor network switches; supports multi-protocol access including RS485, DALI, BACnet and Modbus. It collects device status and energy consumption data on the uplink, and issues start/stop, dimming and scene commands on the downlink for two-way connectivity.

1

Field Device Layer

(Controllers · Panels · Sensors · Actuators)

Control executed by smart panels, dimming modules and DDC controllers; air conditioning units and fresh air units are connected to building automation; smart electric meters, water meters and cold/heat meters measure energy consumption. Illuminance, occupancy, temperature & humidity and CO₂ sensors perceive the environment for on-demand scheduling.
