Project Case | China Yellow River Cultural Center, Dongying
The Yellow River Cultural Center, also known as the Yellow River Branch of China National Local Chronicles Museum and Dongying Local Chronicles Museum, is the first national-level venue in Dongying. It integrates functions including book collection, reading, research and exhibition. The main building has four floors with an exhibition area of 11,000 ㎡. With the exhibition theme of "Overview of the Yellow River, Perception of Dongying", it aims to build a symbol of Yellow River culture, a model for national local chronicles museums and an important patriotic education base. It is now a national 3A-level tourist attraction.

Project Introduction: The project deployed the DOBAS intelligent lighting control system, covering all exhibition and public areas across four floors of the museum. The first floor consists of temporary exhibition hall, Central Plains cultural relics exhibition hall, Yellow River Estuary International Marathon exhibition hall, library, sales area, children's education area, catering, coffee and leisure zone. The second floor features Dawn of Civilization, Magnificent Yellow River and Four Seasons of the Yellow River Estuary Halls. The third floor includes Vicissitudes of History, Light of Civilization, River Harnessing Achievements, Virtual Experience of the Yellow River, Impression of Dongying, Long History and Colorful Customs. The fourth floor contains Ode to Victory, Forging the Future and Pearl of River and Sea. The system comprehensively adopts application solutions such as intelligent scenes, time clock management, human presence detection, dimming, upper limit fine-tuning, soft system startup, centralized computer management and iPad wireless control. By utilizing sensing, dimming and other technologies, visitors can deeply experience the profound Yellow River culture.
