Hospital Solutions

Solution Introduction

As a densely populated public building that operates continuously, a hospital demands extremely high reliability in lighting, HVAC, energy, and safety. The system uses a layered, distributed architecture of three modules: the Platform Management Layer, the Network Transmission Layer, and the Field Device Layer. Compatible with mainstream protocols such as KNX, BACnet, and DALI, it fully integrates hospital subsystems including lighting, air conditioning & ventilation, power distribution, water supply & drainage, and fire protection. All are uniformly connected to the building automation, energy monitoring, and environment monitoring platforms, breaking down device silos to achieve unified monitoring, intelligent linkage, and data interoperability across all scenarios.

Solution Architecture

The system adopts a layered, distributed architecture consisting of three major modules: the Platform Management Layer, the Network Transmission Layer, and the Field Device Layer. It is compatible with mainstream industrial protocols such as KNX, BACnet, and DALI, and fully integrates hospital lighting, HVAC, fire protection, power distribution, and other subsystems, breaking down device silos to achieve unified monitoring, intelligent linkage, and data interoperability across all scenarios.

Platform Management Layer

(Centralized Monitoring · Scene Dispatch · Data Decision)

The centralized monitoring center, nurse stations, and logistics departments are managed in a unified way. The smart control platform, building automation platform, energy monitoring platform, and environment monitoring platform are displayed on the same screen. Scenes for outpatient areas, wards, and public areas are dispatched with one tap, with the status of the entire hospital visible in real time.

Network Transmission Layer

(TCP/IP · KNX · BACnet · Modbus · DALI)

The hospital LAN and floor network switches provide reliable transmission, supporting multi-protocol access via RS485, DALI, BACnet, Modbus, and more. Uplink data collects device status and energy consumption; downlink commands dispatch start/stop, dimming, and scene instructions, achieving two-way connectivity.

Field Device Layer

(Controllers · Panels · Sensors · Actuators)

Smart panels, dimming modules, and DDC controllers execute control. Air handling units, fresh air units, and fan coil units are connected to the building control system. Smart electricity, water, and heating/cooling meters measure energy consumption. CO, temperature & humidity, occupancy, and illuminance sensors perceive the environment.

Covered systems: Smart Lighting · Building Automation · Energy Monitoring · Environment Monitoring · Smart Ward Nursing · Fire Emergency Linkage — six subsystems operate collaboratively on a single platform.

Core Value
  • Energy Saving and Consumption Reduction
Public lighting saves energy by scene, air conditioning runs by status and time period, and parking garage CO linkage provides on-demand ventilation — multiple measures work together to reduce consumption and lower the hospital's operational energy use over the long term.
  • Comfort & Health
Constant illuminance in waiting areas, adjustable warm light in wards, and real-time control of CO, temperature, and humidity create a soothing medical environment for patients and a comfortable working environment for medical staff.
  • Safety & Reliability
Emergency lighting with forced switching via fire linkage, low-voltage control for safe and reliable operation, and prompt call-service response safeguard the hospital's continuous operations and patient safety.
  • Efficient Operations & Maintenance
Nurse stations, logistics, and the monitoring center get tiered visibility, with equipment, energy, and environment all on one screen. Faults are proactively alerted and maintained remotely, greatly reducing manual inspections.
