Airport Solutions

Solution Introduction

Airport terminals function around flight schedules and round the clock. Focused on scene control in departure lounges, the system integrates lighting, air conditioning and sun shading into a unified intelligent platform, and further expands to building automation, energy consumption monitoring and environmental monitoring. Lighting and air conditioning operate automatically according to flight timetables, and natural ventilation is activated via weather linkage, providing a comfortable and energy-saving environment for tens of thousands of square meters of waiting areas.

Solution Architecture

The system adopts a layered distributed architecture, consisting of three major modules: platform management layer, network transmission layer and field device layer. Tailored to the practical requirements of large spaces such as arrival and departure halls, waiting lounges and boarding bridges, it centrally connects systems including smart lighting, building automation, energy consumption monitoring and environmental monitoring. Lighting and air conditioning scenes in waiting lounges run in different time segments based on flight schedules. Light sensors in glass curtain wall and skylight areas automatically adjust supplementary lighting. The rooftop weather station links with curtains, ventilation and sunshades. Faults on critical circuits are instantly displayed on screens, realizing full-domain linkage of lighting, air conditioning, sunshading and meteorological response as well as green operation.

Platform Management Layer

(Centralized Monitoring · Scene Distribution · Data-based Decision Making)

The smart lighting control system, building control system and energy management system are displayed on a single screen. Unified management is conducted at the central control center. Scenes for arrival and departure halls, waiting lounges and boarding bridges can be deployed with one click, and the status of the whole building is visible in real time.

Network Transmission Layer

(TCP/IP · KNX · BACnet · Modbus · CAN)

Reliable transmission is realized through the local area network and network switches of the terminal. Multi-protocol access including TCP/IP, CAN, BACnet and Modbus is supported. It collects device status and energy consumption data on the uplink, and delivers start-stop, dimming and scene commands on the downlink, achieving two-way communication.

Field Device Layer

(Controllers · Panels · Sensors · Actuators)

Smart panels, switch drivers and dimming boxes execute control commands. Motion sensors and illuminance sensors perceive the environment. DLX digital input modules and DLD analog input modules access various signals, and CAN bus connects all site devices.

Covered systems: Smart Lighting · Building Automation · Energy Consumption Monitoring · Environmental Monitoring · Public Area Control · Fire Emergency Linkage. The six subsystems operate collaboratively on one unified platform.
