Project Case｜Sanya NAU Soybean and Horticultural Crop Germplasm Innovation Center

The Soybean and Horticultural Crop Germplasm Innovation Center of Nanjing Agricultural University is a scientific research institution under Nanjing Agricultural University. Located in Yazhou District, Sanya City, Hainan Province, it has a total construction area of 51,100 ㎡, consisting of a 12-storey main building, a 4-storey annex building and a 2-storey multi-function hall. It houses core functional areas including molecular breeding laboratories, germplasm resource banks and breeding innovation greenhouses. Constructed by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, the project is a key project of Hainan Province. It serves national food security and rural revitalization strategies, and supports agricultural technology development of Hainan Free Trade Port and the construction of the "Nanfan Silicon Valley".
